Fundamental Baptist Church receives healthy kidney talk. Over 200 members of the Fundamental Baptist Church in Lawa have also benefited from the ongoing kidney health education provided by the Kidney Health International.
Despite an early morning heavy down pour in parts of the region that caused flooding in certain parts of the region, members defied the seeming challenge and poured out to listen to the health talk.
The Programs Manager has been responding to calls from various organized groups in the region to provide them with health talks about prevention of kidney disease as the mandate of the NGO is.
The Pastor of the congregation and his leaders were very elated at the response of the organization and the education provided and requested a nother round in coming months. According to Pastor Elijah Kuusal, the knowledge provided by the NGO was very crucial as many members of the church didn’t know anything about kidneys.
He was optimistic that the education provided was going to lead to a consious awareness in the lives of the members as they were now going to regularly checking their health status.
