Kidney Health International Screens Over 300 to Mark World Diabetes Day – Short read

Kidney Health International Screens Over 300 to Mark World Diabetes Day. To mark the World Diabetes Day, the Kidney Health International, the Non-Governmental Organizational arm of the Kidney Konsult has successfully screened over 300 people to mark the World Diabetes Day.

World Diabetes Day provides an opportunity to raise awareness about diabetes as a critical global public health issue.

The Kidney Health International takes keen interest in the day because globally diabetes ranks the number one cause of kidney disease.

For the first time, participants had their creatinine checked as part of the screening.

They also enjoyed free consultation from medical doctors who volunteered to join the screening.

Here are some pictures from the screening.
